Welcome to Sqwose!

This site is dedicated to women everywhere who wear compression stockings.  Whether you wear them out of medical necessity or work in a profession that requires long hours on your feet, you probably already know that they are good for your leg health and bad for your sense of style.

I started this site because I was tired of hiding the fact that I wear compression stockings on a daily basis (you can read more of my story here) and really only utilizing about 25% of my wardrobe.  I am on a mission to incorporate my stockings into my wardrobe as a fashion accessory and forbid them from dictating my personal style.

Regardless of whether or not you care about fashion, you will find some great tips here on everything related to compression stockings: how to wear them, what type (ie. thigh-high vs. pantyhose style) to wear, information on the different brands available, where to buy them for the least amount of dough (these things can get pricey!) and how to care for them as well as some general information on maintaining leg health.

Come on in and take a look around, 'cause I'm just getting started.  Please know that I'm still tweaking the site (design, layout, content) so don't be surprised if you find changes (big and small) when you come back.  I'm learning that web design is like anything else your passionate about: it's fun, challenging and insanely time-consuming when you don't know what your doing!

Also, I know some bloggers update on a very regular basis (some everyday, some every hour) but let's face it, we're discussing compression hosiery here and while I have a lot to say, it's not a topic that demands every-hour-on-the-hour attention.  That being said, I'll update as frequently as my schedule allows (probably weekly, maybe more in the beginning) and when I have something meaningful to contribute.  In the meantime, if you have any specific questions regarding compression hosiery, topics you'd like to see covered in the future or anything else relating to compression please feel free to contact me via the form below.

Thanks for stopping by...
